Reply:Good looking design. Welcome...jw3 you have to remember TEXAS is half of this country.....
Reply:I agree with you that Tx is 1/2 this country. I am about 60 south of Dallas. I personally consider anyone north of the Red River a Yankee. (Lol)Miller BobcatHarris cutting outfitMiller spectrum 625 plasmaVariety of shopmade tools

Reply:Where do you plan to mount the side winch?
Reply:Right there in the front thinkin of a 12000lb winch might do away with the lights an put an winch might do away with the winch an put more lights Its up in the air
Reply:personal opinion on lights is they should be as high as possible to avoid unnecessary breakage. Keep the winch, move the lights. There are no problems. There are only solutions. It's your duty to determine the right one.Hobart Handler 210Airco 225 Amp MSM Stinger
Reply:well im gonna put expanded metal there in front to so i dont think il have trouble with breaking my lights a im not really a fan of light bars on the roof of my truck. what are some good off road lights the ones i have are alright i kinda wanna convert them to h.i.d. lights
Reply:I was thinking mount them to the top bar. You could do this inverted (from under the bar) so that you have your room for your winch and can still protect the lights. when weight the merits of lights over winch, which would you rather be; Able to see when you're stuck, or not stuck anymore? There are no problems. Reply:True story, now u got me thinkin this truck hardly ever gets stuck has 4.56 gears an a Detroit locked but when i go Mudding I usually go Mudding I got friends to pull me out but I love the look ofA bad *** winch in the front an when we go Mudding there ain't much to latch on to but it's still up in the air y'all have any other ideas I could do to this bumper I'd like to put rod holders and some can openers some where lol like I said its a tonka toy what's a mudd pit with out any booze
Reply:maybe building a roof mount would help with your light positioning problem...not my truck but a idea Attached Images
Reply:I've been thinkin about that those look pretty alright
Reply:I v'e got some more pics if you need them.
Reply:Remember to incorporate a step, the grill of a dodge isn't attached to the hood just for the heck of it
Reply:The thing is I have a tool box to in the bed an I don't like headache racks so I don't know how to mount a rack on the roof
Reply:Ya I'd like to see them when u have time to post them up thanks

Reply:98rampower, I have a 2nd Gen Ram (94) and am trying to design a front bumper to mount lights and possibly winch at a later time. My question is, did you use the existing bumper brackets, or did you fab new brackets? Obviously your new bumper is much heavier duty than the stock one, so I'm guessing you had to fab new brackets. For selection of winch bumpers, I add the front and rear end protection needed to ward of damage caused by fender benders and potential road hazard. Reply:No I used 1/2" strap that was about 4" wide and I have a body lift so the brackets wouldn't work I'd have to cut them shorter
Reply:Here u can kinda see what I did Attached Images
