Floor grate project

I'm in the process of making a cover for a water holding tank. The tank is going to be set into a concrete floor and it's about 6' dia. I decided to go with a 10 sided polygon shape. That way it saves some material and I wouldn't have to  have someone else cut out half moons. I used 10"x3/16" plate with a 2"x3/16" lip. I'll be using 3"x1.5" C-channel for the main cross supports. The tank will have a pickup pipe running into it so the customer wanted it built in 2 pieces so the cover can be taken off to clean the tank out now and then.Chicks Dig Body DamageMiller Dynasty 200dxHobart Handler 187Lincoln AC 225

Reply:Well I've finished this project and it turned out great. Hope to deliver it tomorrow and hope the check signer is there. Reply:I ended up getting a few picks with someone else's phone After I loaded it up. Lucky for me the two pieces fit right in the hole nice and tight and the shop manager there was very empressed with them.I made up some handles real quick out of some flat and round bar I had.
