Some pics of my work I do in Germany,Nice fun job I found, and like 1/2 a mile from my house.Have fun lookin guys and girls.My Shovelhead with dyno results. yes 250... little over 100hp on the rear wheel.The Topfuel Harley I built and raced over here, Hell on WheelsI'm the 1 holdin the timeslip  No more room for more pics  Attached Images
Reply:Oh well more pics from the gt 40Yes it is a 1969 Ford gt-40 (was in Lemans race in 69)Original had steel pipes (Bundle a Snakes)I made em outa 1mm(.039) stainless.Was a real BITCH no room to run the pipes. Attached Images
Reply:very nice toys, that Shovelhead's pretty dambed cool.  Kinda threw me though, 250??  Then I remembered you're in Germany.....Kilometers per hr!!!155 Mph is pretty dambed cool Lincoln SA 200Esab Caddy 160Thermal Arc 201TSMiller Dialarc HFI don't like making plans for the day because then the word "premeditated" gets thrown around the courtroom....

Reply:Spc,  do you do all you Shovel's engine work?  I'm rebuilding my Schwager's old Low Rider that caught fire on the autobahn and may need to do some top end work.  I'm looking at taking the jugs .005 over and  a valve job for starters and haven't found a good machine shop.Last edited by Guardrail; 11-04-2012 at 01:11 PM.Reason: Spelling
Reply:Ya Guardrail,I do heads and cylinders,I have a Flowbench to, thats why my bikes are so Faaast,If ya need any help let me know.Head work (porting, I dont think you need)But valves, guides and seats are not a problem for me.Thanks for askinFrank Attached Images

Reply:Nice bikes. the guys who ride the dragsters must be crazy I think. I don't think I have the brass to ride one of them. I guess I don't have bikes in my blood.And that GT-40 is amazing. even though it was  a tough one, I bet you loved having that one in your shop.

Reply:Well, buildin thems a blast, the little 1s,I build about 4-5 a year here, guys from sweden buy them for there kids,ya know, like father like son lol.I modify the motors for alcohol and with a blast of nitros they make 35 hp or so,1 guy asked me , what the hell ya need wheeliebars for,So I let him test ride 1..... hit the throttle and up it was,when it cam down he hit the nos button and almost lost it, That was funny He wasnt expecting that, scared him... BOO lolYa need to do a burnout or ya lose traction with the nos.I have to make vids of stuff like that, I'd get rich.
Reply:Thanks for posting the pics. I like the kids bike. My neighbor races top fuel Harley's. I don't know if you have ever heard of him, but he was a pioneer in the sport. Marion Owens is his name. Attached Images

Reply:One of the best sounds out there is a top fuel harley loping. Have any pic of yours releasing a little smoke? And he doesn't even have the throttle wide open.

Reply:That chassis was built in San Francisco in the early "70ds" at Kosman Racing I machined A great many of the parts for that bike as well as Danny Johnson bike out of N. Carolina. B.J.
