Decebt Mig on steel but Stainless???

d have a fish tank problem to work out and I'd like to know if it's doable in stainless given my 1 years general Mig experience. TriMix? Type of SS. TIG maybe better. Anything you can advice it'd be helpful. For those of you who were here for the 2 WeldoRamas and the big, in-wall 400 gallon tank, it's that one now empty and awaiting a solution. Reply:Jonathan just match your filler metal to what your parent is. I expect that it's salt water. Filler needs to be corrosion resistant as well. If not in contact with the water that makes things easier. The SS will weld very similar to soft/mild A36. Being that your involved I expect this SS came from a friend at NASA who got it from E.T. or Alf. Reply:I love Alf!Yes, it's saltwater. Got it emptied yesterday and its drying today. You know you have good friends when they're willing to crawl inside of your wall tank and get it ready for repair!!!Thanks for the response B. We're waiting to pick up the materials tomorrow
