who is a good tig welder??

ive got alot of questions and need some help. I need to know whos excellent at tig welding.If the conversation isn’t money, then I’ll see you later.

Reply:Just what are your questions? There are any number of good tig guys here depending on what you are welding. Zap and Kevin Morin come mind right away, as would Sundown. There are quite a few others, but I'd have to stop and think a bit and try to remember them. Most of the ones I'm thinking about usually post pipe or tube work and don't post as frequently..No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Reply:If your questions concern pipe then myself, alloycowboy, or GTOwelder probably can help you. If its more of a sheetmetal mechanic/professional metal Fab question then zapster,ZTfab, or B.C. can help you. There is a bunch more folks that are more than qualified as well. But you need to get to what it is you want to know

Reply:Moe-ron asks (typing with one finger because the other is in his nose). How hot do I have to set my welder to make good welds on metal? This isn't steel metal.  It's that gray colored metal that boats and airplanes are made out of.  It's about as thick as a small magazine and it has paint on it. Can I weld it without messing up the paint?I saw a guy on the internets weld with his car battery.  Can I weld this  metal with my car battery? Will it be water tight? How much load can I put on this weld if I turn a welding machine about half way on it's settings?If you aren't an expert, don't bother trying to answer my questions.  I don't want some rookie in training advising me on something as important as this!Two turn tables and a microphone.
