Need some info/advice on a welder

I loved Zap's 330 A B/P but don't have room for a refrigerator sized welder in my garage. Reply:Louie,That's the exact same make and model machine I've been tig welding with for the past 3 years.   Haven't had any problems with it.   It's capable of some pretty nice work.   The one in that ad looks like it's been taken pretty good care of.  If it comes with that cooler, foot pedal, ground and torch and if you get to test drive it and there's no problems I think $1500 would be a good price.  Of course I'd still try a little down east dickering on the seller to see if it could be had for less.  A new Syncrowave 250 DX lists for around $4000 if that helps put some perspective on it for you.Last edited by HT2-4956; 05-28-2014 at 07:19 PM.
Reply:I'd be surprised if the Syncrowave sells well new these days, As a used machine, this one looks good. They don't show torch, leads or ground. Until the Dynasty these were the best on the market.

Reply:I really prefer those old style, heavier all metal foot pedals like is pictured with that Hobart TX 250-HF.   IMO, that wimpy little all plastic POS that Miller has switched over to was a poor decision on their part.
