Trying to get a sense of average amount of time most people are renting their tanks for. Thanks much
Reply:How long will you need them?I have bought the ones I have. If you can and are going to need them for a while buy if you can, and as large as money allows.
Reply:Mine's 3 years and cost me $100 per cylinder. I could have bought them for $300 but the price difference between suppliers is crazy and if you buy them you're stuck forever with that supplier. At least this way I'm only stuck for 3 years.....Mike

Reply:I had a one year lease with Air gas for a 330 tank, it was the only way I could get the 330 tanks I bought swapped out. None of the welding supply centers in charlotte, nc that I know of will swap them out unless you have a lease with them. However air gas prices are over double and add the $100 lease fee and it didn't make economical sense. anyone want to buy a 330 tank?
Reply:Twenty some years ago I bought a 'lifetime' lease on my tanks at the only supplier in the area. Fast forward to now and I still just drop off the empties and pick up the full tanks at what is still the only supplier in the area. I only pay for the gasses. I paid around $300 for the lease-Spike
