I finally finished the wine rack ive been trying to work on. Except i keep getting side tracked by people needing something that "it will only take a min". But after 5 or 10 of those small things there goes my class time. i based it off a reply to the thread IDEAS posted by some one else. but i changed a few things. i do not have in progress pics but i have raw materials/painted.This weld was when our MIG was going through the no read out phase (would not tell volts/amps) so i put it where i thought it would go and not to bad. This is the ornament/handle for the top. I used the bandsaw i put together after seeking help from you guys thanks!!paint pics will be up as soon as it drys
Reply:almost makes me want to drink wine.. NOT!   looks cool. nice job.  Is the panit dry yet.DayePound to fit, paint to match
Reply:im hopefully going to try a 2 stage paint job with a metalic charcoal gray with metalic flakes. Then put laces like from a table cloth over it and paint over the gray with blue. Then peel it off n bam lace paint job. However i could not find lace. So the gray for now will have to do. I took a pic of  something i improvised i sprayed the charcoal a few coats. Then i put a box fan on med and sprayed the green/blue (i guess teal) in front of the fan so it now has kinda a over spray look to it but not rlly.  But since im using my cell as a camera you can barely see the paint. You can see it the best in my bathroom but still sucks... but me and 4 others say it looks good (including my sis who would be the first one to say it looks like crap brother/sister love at its finest)ill post another one tomarro or something when my girlfriend comes over she has a droid and its camera is rlly good.Last edited by himsa169; 02-04-2011 at 08:37 PM.

Reply:Very nice. What did you use to make the coils?.No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Government programs, once launched, never disappear. Actually, a government bureau is the nearest thing to eternal life we'll ever see on this earth! Ronald Reagan

Reply:Remember to store the bottles with the cork tipped down to keep it wet. This keeps the cork from drying and keeps the bottle sealed. 200amp Air Liquide MIG, Hypertherm Plasma, Harris torches, Optrel helmet, Makita angle grinders, Pre-China Delta chop saw and belt sander, Miller leathers, shop made jigs etc, North- welders backpack.
