After a few years of borrowing a smoker from my neighbor, I finally decided to build my own. I wanted to build the entire project with scrap material but big sheets of diamond plate don't come around every day. I broke down and bought one sheet.This smoker box is made of 1/8th" diamond plate measuring 23"W x 18"D and 48"H. It's got a 32,000btu burner from a turkey fryer and 3 racks inside. The casters make it easy to wheel around when it's smokin' time. The frame was made with scrap 3" channel of the 3/16" variety.
