Reply:http://www.backyardmetalcasting.com/http://www.abymc.com/there are tons more online, just google a while and you will be spinning from the amount of hobby casters out thereI got a home built propane burner, a homebuilt 8# steel crucible, trash can furnace made from kaowool instead of pourable refactery. melts aluminum in maybe 13mins from cold.  I want to rebuild the burner to a forced air style to get melts down to 7-9mins from cold.anyways that should get you on your way.also dont forget to check out blacksmithing pages too, they have great info on converting charcoal to coke, which fires considerably hotter. and furnace desgins
