Anyone have a 3 phase converter? Have 2-3 phase motors just laying in my basement ready to work, I have read up on them and am getting ready to buy a kit looking for any tips anyone might have. Have an old compressor that has a motor that is ready to die and was going to run my 3hp off of my 5hp. both motors are about 6months old or less and are baldor premium e's. Found a kit that will contain all caps, relays, and switches and turns on the idler with just an on/off switch. Basically for the price of a new single phase motor I can purchase the kit and panel.
