Reply:Good idea, however I would have the bowling ball held in place by spring pressure and just have a lever adjustment that pulled down on the lower rotor, just put your foot down on it and it would pull down enough to allow the ball to move around.Would eliminate the need for the (potentially expensive) bottle jack and eliminate the hydraulics within it as a point of failure. Make it easier to operate as well because you'd have one pedal as opposed to two.But still, good little idea.Owner of a classic car.
