we use fire extinguishers by the hundreds so occasionally we get one that doesn't hold a charge. i was looking at them and thought it was a waste to give them the heave-ho so i drew a line around the circumference and left room to silver solder a couple washers for strength at the handle attachment point. i used a cut off wheel but i'm sure a plasma cutter's much faster. then i bent some 1/4 inch round for the handle and i had a great (imvho) bucket for small parts. the only bad thing is everybody wanted one. Reply:I like the bucket idea, made me think of something else.Looks like a used fire extinguisher could be a good start on a portable rod oven if someone wanted to build one.I already have one, but if I didn't I think making one out of a used extinguisher would be a good place to start."The reason we are here is that we are not all there"SA 200Idealarc TM 300 300MM 200MM 25130a SpoolgunPrecision Tig 375Invertec V350 ProSC-32 CS 12 Wire FeederOxweld/Purox O/AArcAirHypertherm Powermax 85LN25
