Hi all : Folling up to the "Q" I posed yesterday, can someone explain which is better for my Dynaflex TIG cooler. Distilled or Deionized water to add with The Defense 929 I intend to by as soon as I fine a local outlet. I looked up the definition but I guess it was not clear as pertaining to welding , such as HF current etc. Thanks, altec Miller Syncrowave 250Lincoln 10,000+ Engine drive
Reply:I would avoid deionized water. It can corrode copper and some other metals to a degree."USMCPOP" First-born son: KIA Iraq 1/26/05Syncrowave 250 w/ Coolmate 3Dialarc 250, Idealarc 250SP-175 +Firepower TIG 160S (gave the TA 161 STL to the son)Lincwelder AC180C (1952)Victor & Smith O/A torchesMiller spot welder
