Looking for a "mica capacitor" Miller Electric Mfg. part number 31-602 if any one has any resources. Also looking for any literature i.e. repair manual stuff for this P&H.It welds great but the hi freq doesn't work. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Matt email:[email protected]
Reply:Do you have any specs on the mica capacitor? I might have one if I knew what capacitance and voltage rating you need. In the old days, mica capacitors hada series of colored ***s on them. This is the "color code" that tells you the value of the capacitor in mfd microfarads) or pf (picofarads) and the tolerance. If you find a color code, describe it to us.Newer mica capacitors have the values printed on the body in plain text.awright
Reply:If Miller doesn't stock it and you know the specs, check out digikey or jameco. For components they're both good sources, and cheap to boot.
Reply:Thanks for the help guys.I found a capacitor, but it didn't fix the problem.Oh well back to board. Thanks again matt |
