Anybody familiar with this 3-in-1 machine? It looks like the top brace for the mill might get in the way, but sure looks like a sturdier machine than the Smithy/Grizzly/Harbor Freight-type machines.http://www.shoptask.com
Reply:It looks like it might get in the way occasionally, but it sure opens up the work you can do on the mill. I find myself having to remove the lathe chuck on the smithy occasionally to fit a workpeice... Its a pain when you're going back and forth a lot. Though thats mostly because I'm an amature at best on the machine tools. |
