So I started welding about 30 some odd years ago. I've always been kind of a stick guy. On and off I have had certifications for this and that.Since January, when I got my first tig machine, I have been practicing a little and think I am starting to get the hang of it. It's amazing how far I can come because of the Internet and folks on the weldingweb ready to share what they have learned over the years, showing how I can improve. Since my wife is going back to school she suggested I take a class in something I liked so we could learn something we both like together even though we're in separate classes. We have a nice technology school in our valley and I have registered to take the TIG pipe welding certification class. It looks to be a lot of fun, and the instructors whom I met with are very sharp. I do wish I lived closer to some of you folks to accept tutelage from one of the greates here on the board, but I'm sure I will enjoy myself and learn a lot. Never too old for education and I have never found it not worth the price.Regards,RobGreat Basin WeldingInstagramBlue weldersRed weldersMy luscious Table DIY TIG Torch cooler
