Thermal Arc 186 and cart setup.. My new setup

So I finally got around to unbolting my HF cart and T/A 186. I added some rod holders to both sides of the cart. I'm happy with the way it came out. I wish the top tray on the cart was an inch longer so the entire foot of the welder was on it, but it's sturdy enough either way. Reply:They are rod guard rod holders. I got then from cyber weld for $12/each. I used brackets meant to hold up metal conduit from Home Depot for $2 each.

Reply:Piece of heavy sheet metal at a 90deg angle with the proper hole cut in it should work. If you want the front feet of the welder on the shelf you could cut a piece of plate the size of the shelf and add the 1" you want. I would be tempted to add a little more and have it so you put some tools on it maybe some wire brushes and such.
