Reply:i weld with an old idealacr 250ac/dcTig, it has never failed yetagreed which evers is the least $ (what color do you like)
Reply:Alright I'll be lookin. Thanks.
Reply:look at it this way...they all do the same thingbut diffrent you just have to get to know the machine..either and or will make you smile in the end..if you dont smash it with a sledgehammer first...zap!(i'm board)I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home.
Reply:I use a dialarc also (from the 80s). There are two in my family (the other from the late 60s early 70s). Neither have ever given a second's problem. I know folks that use the idealarc also...same there. Bulletproof, the both. I'd go with the least expensive. I'd also suggest buying used if these are the ones you are looking at. They are both good welders to get used. If you can find the HF versions, you will have the added flexibility of tigging.Smithboy...if it ain't broke, you ain't tryin'. |
