What brands and where can i get Different shape carbide bits? Cones, ect. used for porting Engines.
Reply:Hello,You can get the items you are looking for at Goodson Shop Supply in Winona Mn. You can view the items @ Goodson.com They may not be the least expensive on the block, but the products and service are second to none. If you are interested in any Goodson products I would be glad to help you with a catalog N.C. I stock a lot of Goodson items and can sell you product below jobber cost. You can also look at MSC Supply, Production Tool Co, Travers Tool Co,and Enco they all have items you are looking for. Also look at the Standard Abrasives web site for sanding rolls, mandrels, cross buffs, all the porting abrasives you will need are there. I hope this helps,Ric
Reply:Well I am definitely not a machinist so I'm not up on what you're looking for but give a this site a shot. http://www.msdiscount.com/store/cata...n_id=187862364P.S. This site does set cookies.
Reply:I have some SAIT bits that work very well.http://www.unitedabrasives.com/burs/search.shtml
Reply:X-ACTO has small stuff for small places..we use some of their stuff when doing race engines.....zap!I am not completely insane..Some parts are missing Professional Driver on a closed course....Do not attempt.Just because I'm a  dumbass don't mean that you can be too.So DON'T try any of this **** l do at home.
Reply:Don't know if your still looking but, Grainger and McMaster Carr both carry that sort of thing. If you are not familiar with them just look them up on the Internet the are major suppliers ... Personally I Love Mcmaster Carr but grainger is also pretty good, but I think more limited in scope.Usually refered to as "Burrs" the carbide ones are expensive but work on steel and stainless as well ... The "double cut" versions of them seem to work the best for material removal and most come with a 1/4" shaft...O ...... they also carry the sandpaper type cones, drums and mandrelsWashman
