This is the last freebie "Government Job" for awhile, can't get my own stuff done. A buddy at work makes this medieval jewelry out of chainmail and asked if I could improve on the ragged out wooden board that he uses to stretch this stuff to then run wires and beads. I open my big mouth and say how about this, next thing I know is I'm fab'n stuff up. Anyway, the last of these freebies for awhile. there is a fixed portion and a moveable "jaw" and one for each width of stuff he makes. Here's some shots:

Reply:Nice work, and I'm betting he loves it.(Retired) Professional firefighter, amateur everything else I try to do...Oh yeah: Go Big Red! (You know: one of the 12 members of the Big 10 cuz we left the 10 members of the Big 12...)
Reply:He does love it and here's the first piece he made with it.
Reply:Nice Work! You should really consider selling those at shows, outdoor events and on D.A. I CANNOT believe how many people are into this 'mid-evil' thing' and make Chainmaille and swords and stuff like that... It's pretty crazy and the market is MUCH bigger than a lot of people think. Any device to 'facilitate' making chainmaille would do very well IMO.Cheers,Miller Diversion 165120 amp Buzz BoxVictor Oxy/Ace Oxy/LPGSmith "Little" Oxy/LPGHypertherm Powermax 30Lot's of Misc. tools n' crap....
Reply:Thanks gents,.Even for my small town there are plenty of folks into this sort of thing, fun to observe. Jman--thanks, but as soon as I put one on the table some eight year old Chinese girl will be banging these out by the thousands out of pot metal in the dirt floor basement of daddy's house selling them for $3.99. I need the decimal moved over two places. Cheers and thanks again.
