line cutter?

Hey guys,I'm getting a 1/2" piece of plate for my table top (torch cut from a junk yard).I don't have a plasma so I went to my local welding guy and asked him if he could plasma cut it clean for me.  He said (I thought) something about a "line cutter"?  I'm clueless as to what he was talking about.  ????

Reply:He's right, there is a special type of oil for use around O/A that has garnered much discussion in past threads. But I will not start stupid threads so...If you don't have the time to do it right, then you definitely don't have the time to do it over.
