I just saw a big plate in a scrap pile. I can probably get it cheap, buti actually can't think of a use for it! It's galvanized, 1/8" thick. Anybody have a fun idea? I stick weld, and all my projects are as thin or thinner than this plate.I don't have a car or garage, so I'm asking for ideas instead of just grabbing it.
Reply:Truck bumpers, tool boxes and industrial look furniture come to mind. The galvy will be some what of an issue and you'll need to take reasonable precautions welding and cutting it to avoid the fumes..No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size.
