Reply:In the days before luxury pickup trucks, we saw a Cadillac that had a giant Ugly "U" frame welded over the rear window section to pull his fith wheel in our campground.  One of the scariest looking setups I ever saw.

Reply:That is probably the craziest towing set up I've ever seen. not sure about the roof mount being suiteable to handle the load, but sure makes towing and parking a breeze. lmao. Reply:I was considering this at one point for our fifth wheel. But after reading up on the subject I came to understand the the frames of the camper are made special for the ones with the extended kingpin. Just my 2 cents and why I did not do it. I ended up purchasing a slider fifth wheel hitch.
