so i built a welding trailer for a buddy. what ya think?

I got a call from him asking for some help setting up his 12vs suitcase. When we put it together we put in a plasma cutter, air arc, suitcase welder and all the other goodies. He was putting in the iron for a new dock. Attached Images

Reply:I also hate those style lights if you can call that style.  I have them on one of my new trailers and I haven't had time to change them.The aluminum is pretty, but I would have gone with steel.  It takes a beating better.  Other than looking front heavy I love the color and the welder!

Reply:One thing you might consider is a filter / seperator and regulator for the plasma , will help on consumable life.      All things aside -  nice looking trailer.
Reply:Looks good, but I would also agree that is tounge heavy no question about it.I can agree with the lights moving also, although I have 2 trailers like that (one with the light fully boxed in, the other not much for options to move it due to the ramp.)

Reply:from looking at the pictures if you can pick up that hitch "easy" you need to Cut back on the steroids your biceps must be so big you have to weld with your arms strait out .....come on man the welder is at the front of the trailer im not doubting he likes the weight dist but easily picking up the tounge seems far fetched....1979 sa 200victor 100several bfh's several pitbulls (for holding down the floor)
Reply:I would agree with texasrednek, I would like to see a pic of you holding the tounge off the ground with one hand.You can say all you want it's not tounge heavy, it's not.  It is plainly obvious from your pictures that it is tounge heavy.Of course it takes a real man to admit he's wrong, so...
Reply:Hey guys, we could all be wrong.  If he has 2" of lead in the bottom of the tool box, the tongue weight wouldn't be all that bad.My name's not Jim....It's a tiny trailer, you want tongue weight, not neutrally balanced.
