Weed Drag Project

I built this weed drag from a material separator grate, and it works like a champ.There is one small problem though......when I go from the backyard to the front,I have to cross the driveway. The drag is heavy, like almost 200lbs,and when I crossed the driveway I tore up some asphalt. So I decided to fix that over the last 2 days.First pic is the parts; HF solid wheels rated at 125lbs each, 3/16"x 3" strap, 3/16"x 1" strap, 5/16" all thread, and 3/8" tube.Welded that all together and made the wheels retractable, so I didn't have to figure out how to make them removable.I use 1/4" pins with hairpins to keep them in position.The next pics are them welded on and there operation.  My welds were horrible today.....today I was a grinder, not a welder.HF 180 amp/240 volt Mig (cap mod)1987 Harley FLHTP (project)1990 F350 XLT Lariat S/C dually1990 S&S 11SC Cabover Camper2011 Ford Ranger S/C XLT
Reply:Nice job, I'm sure it will work well. That grate is screen cloth for rock processing machinery.
