This was semi fun. It's 1.25" 0.065" HRS built with my Stronghand 3-axis clamp:http://store.cyberweld.com/sthawecl3ax.htmlWorks AWESOME. The node where the 3 tubes meet is clamped down nice and solid and welded up - no warpage and this puppy is 53" long.Sheet Metal Brake Stand by Jon Kensy, on FlickrI'll be adding interior shelves (material on way). The casters are from harbor freight and are actually nice for $3.29 or something!Miller Diversion 180Hobart Handler 140 (Soon to be replaced with Miller 211?)Miller Spectrum 625 Extreme
Reply:Nice! I think I have the same (or similar) HF casters on my TIG table. Looks like you need to make a tire rack too. Attached Images

Reply:Looks good ! The right tool saves the day again. For casters, look at the hf small dolly . I think its $ 7.99. I bought a bunch just for the wheels. The wheels seem just a good as buying the ones for $ 4.00. Got them on sander base, band saw, and table saw.
Reply:I don't know why but I was expecting something completely different. Like a mechanic's stand for brake shoes. My bad.Cool project, nice pic!Lincoln Power Mig 210MP MIGLincoln Power Mig 350MP - MIG and Push-PullLincoln TIG 300-300Lincoln Hobby-Weld 110v Thanks JLAMESCK TIG TORCH, gas diffuser, pyrex cupThermal Dynamics Cutmaster 101My brain
Reply:nice stand..but i wonder how it will work, because when i bend something heavier than tengauge on mine i have to clamp it down to a heavy table, or the force i put into it would turn a stand like yours over in a heartbeat.. Attached Images
