Reply:Same electrodes from different manufacturers will run... different. Also the ranges listed in the packages are so wide that the only way to find the sweet spot is to run a few beads on scrap. At leas thats how i do it. Some rods run better on the upper side of the range while others run much nicer in the lower side..Anyway, an amperage chart should allow anyone to get started.Mikel
