do yall think HF's tig/arc welder would be ok for sheetmetal. i don't know how to tig, so i figured i could at least get the hang of it with this machine. i'm interested in using it to weld in filler plates on my truck so it won't be seeing over 18 gauge there but it would be nice if it could possibly go up to 1/8"heres a link for specific specshttp://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...emnumber=91811
Reply:I have one and it works pretty good. It doesn't have a foot pedal so thin sheet metal can be tricky with this machine. I got it to play around on and learn some basics about tig welding. For that it has been great.Miller DVI2Lincoln Precision Tig 225Thermodynamics Cutmaster 38Everything else needed.
