I'm looking for a mobile welder.
Reply:Where are you? What size machine? More particulars needed to give a better reply!Just my opinion, not from a book, just from the road.Howes Welding Inc.www.howesweldinginc.com
Reply:Was looking for something around a Trailblazer 302. Need a welder with around 275-plus amps. I like in Okla, will to travel a bit. Thanks
Reply:Not a Trailblazer 302.....but if you're looking for heavy-duty stick welding and air-arc gouging, I've got an ex-military Hobart, 300 amps DC 100% duty....probably 400 amps at 50%.Driven by a Chrysler Industrial 6-cyl engine in good condition; but could use some attention to the carb. I think the float-valve has started sticking shut once in a while. One issue: it's in southern Oregon. One advantage: it's cheap! ....asking just $490 obo. Might trade too.To see pics/info/trade-list, click here....http://www.oregonstone.com/forsale-tools.htmAlso listed on my page where I'm cleaning a friend's farm of engines/trannies/t-cases, etc...http://www.fullwave.comRichardmetal at fullwave doooooot com541-944-9746, 1pm-8pmLast edited by dozer; 08-13-2006 at 10:00 PM.Miller Trailblazer-VJMiller Dialarc 300HFLincoln Weldanpower-225SOLD: Hobart WW2, 300+amp, Chrysler-6FOR SALE: Airco 225/200 AC/DC, Onan Twinhttp://www.oregonstone.com/weld1.html
Reply:I won't even answer these questions anymore without the OP being nice enough to give obviously needed information.
Reply:Dozer: Thanks for the reply, but I just bought a welder.MAC: I agree I did not put enough info, but after tessdad said something I post more info. There was no need to make a post about the info after that. |
