we switched from a 309L-16 to a 309L-17 and got better pen.. Anyways these are the photos Attached Images

Reply:Its A36 to 17-4 stainless, using SMAW, each plate is 3/16 thick.. The weld was pretty clean but i dont have a photo of it. we started with a 309L-16 filler and then changed to a 309L-17 and it worked a little better. From what I hear the 309L-15 is the best bet for a fillet, the others are more for a groove weld..
