I was wondering.. turbo miller Bobcat

I have a few small and large turbos laying around from cars. Some good, some bad.I was wondering if my idea would work...I was thinking of installing a small t28 (stock sr20det) turbo on the exhaust manifold of my bobcat. Have a small dc pump circulating maybe a quart of fluid to keep it lubed, and the turbo coldside inlet/outlet just open to atmosphere.The engine itself wouldn't be turbo'd or mess with afrs or anything, but I would get the turbo whine when the engine revved up from idle. Think it will work for no other reason than to rice my bobcat out? Ha ha..Who knows, maybe use the turbo outlet as a leaf blower or vacuum?I have all the flanges laying around, along with all the pieces necessary to get this to work, maybe shy one or two oil fittings, even have the dc oil pump. Think it would actually spool the turbo enough to get it singing?Miller: 200dx, Bobcat 225, Passport, Powermax 45, Milwaukee: Dry Saw, MagDrill, grinders

Reply:There are other forums for that...However, you could theoretically see up to a ~30% increase in HP with roughly the same fuel consumption. That would be something most of us would like to see. Couple that with an intercooler you might even get to about 35%...I break things for a living...

Reply:Keep it simple and do a suck thru so you don't have to deal with modulating fuel pressure as boost increases.What the heck - might as well put a 10hp spray on it too!
