We're trying to figure how to ship a xmt 304 and 8vs feeder from Florida to Missouri. UPS won't accept the small pallet they were on. What's the best way to get them across the country? Thanks
Reply:Fastenal 3PL. The bolt store place. They will ship store to store cheaper than most LTL carriers. Takes a couple of days longer maybe. Crate it in plywood and make sure a pallet jack will slide under and it's good to go. Go to the link below, fill out out the request form and you'll get a quote and no obligation to use them if you decide to go another route. https://www.fastenal.com/web/en/22/t...ogistics-(3pl)
Reply:Know any local small businesses that ship via freight carrier? Check with them to see if they'll accommodate and ship a pallet for you.If they will, make sure to fasten the units to the pallet and build a crate around it out of plywood/wafer board and 2x4's to protect the machines.MM200 w/Spoolmatic 1Syncrowave 180SDBobcat 225G Plus - LP/NGMUTT Suitcase WirefeederWC-1S/Spoolmatic 1HF-251D-1PakMaster 100XL '68 Red Face Code #6633 projectStar Jet 21-110Save Second Base!

Reply:I have been told that Greyhound hauls some odd freight.
Reply:ship it UPS, they'll take up to 150 pounds. you're well under that limit. no pallet, simply package the xmt well, and box it. you could break them up also.gun, if there is one; feeder and xmt. no big deal |
