Adjustable height work table.

The guys that do the panels on the 3kw generators wanted a table to work off from. Problem is, what is a comfortable height for the base and body is too tall for the top and hood. Solution ? Folding legs. If we would have had the funds, I thought about like a scissors lift style with a hydraulic ram. When they get the unit it doesn't have an engine, fuel tank, inverter box, ect. So the shell weighs maybe 50lbs.Anyway on to the pics. Gonna take two posts so please wait. Basic frame for the top. 2x2x1/4 6061. Corners are coped not mitered.Old shop, floors are not quite level. So I like to put levelers on everything. 1/2" bolt drilled and tapped through a piece of 1/2 stock.Legs cut down and a simple hinge, stop and pin.Putting the top on. 11ga sheet. Stitch welded from the bottom. Mandatory weld bead for your criticism. Gotta round the tube to get a nice fit on the inside of the angle. Reply:Wanted a lip around the top to keep the unit from sliding off. 1x1x1/4 angle, I spaced the top back 1" all around to account for it. Also  added 4"x1/4" gussets to the legs. And finished. For reference my bud there is 5' 6". Folding legs in action. Wanted to be sure it is a one person operation. Pull the pins, kick the legs out, set down.And at the lower height. Enjoy.
