a excellent place for torch and regulator repairs

I just got back from picking up my torch and regulators and was totally blown away by the customers service i received from this place . i dropped them off late in the day on Tuesday about 4:00  pm and told the guy i just bought  these and wanted to get them checked out and to do what ever needed to be done to get them like new again and wanted to get an approximate cost of what it would be he told me without digging into it he thought about $100.00 " i thought to myself no way " and he said he could probably have it by Friday and he would not go over 50% cost of a new one because what i had  would cost about $500.00 to replace new and he does not take credit cards as he does not have allot of walk in business "so cash only "  . i had 2 Victor regulators a 450D and 460A and 315 torch handle and a CA1060 cutting attachment and an old Rosebud that he told me  "was not worth fixing and to just get a new one  " i told him thank you that is why i am here ! at about 3:00 Thursday afternoon  i got a voice mail from him saying my stuff was done and it was $98.50  WOW that was dirt cheap i thought . he glass beaded everything and and replaced everything that needed replaced and warranties it for 6 months . mind you this guy was busy he had i don't how many torches and regulators in there i mean hundreds of them ! The name of this place is KC WELDING REPAIR  in Kansas City Ks. and has been there for 35 years and this guy took it over from his dad and told me he only has about 3 competitors in the country so it's a niche business . i was referred by a LWS  and had never heard of this place . the guy talked to me like i was one of his friends and to say i was "impressed" would be an understatement you just don't get this anymore so i thought i would pass this along to you all as everybody will need something like this done if you play with this stuff long enough . i know i am rambling but in the days of bad customer service "everywhere" this was quite refreshing . keep these guys in mind for your torch and regulator repairs that's KC WELDING REPAIR  913-321-5928 ask for  Curt . thanks Chris
