I know you can just buy them. I am looking for ideas of a simple way to fabricate them. I am sure it is possible to build them. I have a few ideas but would like to hear from some others here. Thanks
Reply:I have seen some that use a 2" "x 1" x1-8" bar channel and a stem mounted roller. They use a peg behind the front and ahead of the rear roller as a stop.
Reply:Lista uses single roller for their 500 lb drawers. I think it is not a good idea, doubles are better.
Reply:You could use track rollers or cam followers to make your own drawer slides. Some where I saw ones that fit inside channel iron. I think McMaster Carr has them.Dan D.Manipulator Of Metal
