rad for a 305 d

I hope everyone is having a good Sunday. I am looking for a rad for 305 d. I am hoping someone will know where I could get one in short notice. I live in manitoba could drive to Edmonton. But being Sunday it may be a wasted trip. Thankyou
Reply:I'm not sure anyone would have one in stock but the lincoln warehouse in Calgary may have one??? Other places to check would be Lincoln warranty depots like Kristian Electric or Continental engines in Edmonton. I think Lincoln has a warehouse in Toronto too but if you call, they should be able to tell you where the closest one is or if it has to come from Cleveland. What happened to your rad? Could it be repaired? The only other place you could try would be a Kubota distributor and see if it's a standard rad or specific to a 305D.Last edited by Welder Dave; 12-07-2014 at 07:27 PM.
Reply:I am assuming it's wore out, nothing has ever hit it. The machine only has 850 hrs. I have read vantage machines have had issues but I don't know what. Vantage machines and 305 d have the same rad.thankyou
Reply:I would think a Vantage would have a bigger rad as they are more H.P. Before you buy a new one, have a rad shop check it out and/or flush it. Shouldn't be much to go wrong with a rad at 850 hours. Without knowing more info, it might not even be a rad problem. It could be a thermostat problem or water pump problem. Driving from Manitoba to Edmonton and back is going to take longer than having a rad shop look at it and probably longer than if you ordered one(provided they had one in stock). There's probably a week driving.
