Gordon Stephenson posted some pics of his "old reliable" some time back.  Just got done tunin' mine up to paint my latest Scientific Marvel & Welding MiracleBurnt post(or something like that) in motor, so the motor repair guy said while handing me a bill for 52 bucks.  New pressure switch (old one leaked a little bit) $29Bought the ol' girl at auction about 15 yrs. ago.  Homebuilt on an old style propane tank.  High bid $70.  A newer Craftsman oiless unit sitting next to it went for around $175 just before mine went on the block.  They weren't lookin' when I bought this oneAny other "well worn" ones out there?? May you both have a long and happy life, Recently stripped one of these new cheap chinese ones for a friend.It consisted of a motor with eccentric shaft driving a con-rod with a fixed alloy disc for a piston, the seal was a thin nylon? cupped washer, The whole thing is just a glorified bike pump, Can't buy a new seal on it's own, Probably use the tank as a portable for tyre blowing, Cheers  Gordon.,Last edited by gordon stephenson; 11-06-2008 at 05:24 PM.
