Reply:From a causal observer, looks like their products are improving. The price is climbing to point of the main brand units also..Esab/Lorch ET-220iEsab 160i caddyThermal LM-200 Lincoln feedersThermal Pee-Wee 85sThermal 60i- 3phase /RPC powered (Beast)Thermal Drag-gun 35CINE 1500 Klutch 140i
Reply:I have three of their machines. I had a problem with one unit, and they sent a FedEx label within thirty minutes. You will hear a lot of bad talk from people who don't own one, but most owners are happy. Post in the Longevity forum also. Brand X is right, the newer units are much better. Many of them are made in the same factory as Thermal Arc, and are very similar in appearance both internally and externally.Last edited by cope; 05-16-2013 at 07:11 PM.

Reply:I am gonna set this off buy saying just buy name brand and skip the chicom stuff. You will be doing yourself a favor in the long run. Just skim craigslist looking for a lincoln, miller, hobart, or esab. Test the machine out before you buy it and do your research. You will see that whenever chicom stuff like longevity, and everlast popup an all out war is started(has gotten better though).Miller Maxstar 200 SDPiperliner #10 Gold

Reply:The stuff that is coming out of the same factory as the TA stuff is performing well. the other stuff not so much. someone mentioned the price going up.. Imagine that, it costs more money to make quality products. That is why you can see some big price differences within their product lines.Tiger Sales: AHP Distributor www.tigersalesco.comAHP200x; AHP 160ST; MM350P, Spoolmatic 30A; Everlast PowerTig 185; Thermal Dynamics 60i plasma.
