Hey guys was not real sure where to ask this however it a future project so this seemed fitting. I am going to b building some alum. tanks for a car such as an overflow coolant , washer solvent powersteering etc..... anyway where do I find a supplier where I can get a weld in top like u would find on a rad. or something with some type of threads for a screw in type lid.im also looking some weld in type fitting to rig up a sight glass on the side. thanks in advance guys.Eric

Reply:I do a lot of aluminum tanks for cars and motorcycles. I have pictures of an coolant overflow tank with a site tube on it. AN fitting blocks I machine then weld In for an oil tank on a race bike and a vacuum tank with fittings in it for a brake booster in an older car. I can't figure out how to get them posted here so I will see if I can email them to TigRX and have him post them. The way I machine the weld in inserts leaves nothing to buy except for the AN fittings plus it's easier to weld up, uses less space and looks cleaner the bungs welded in side by side in my opinion.
