"Predator" cut off discs anyone ever used one of these?

So today I was at the Fastenal store and was BSing with the guy who runs the store.  We got to talking about abrasives and he dug this thing out of a box and said it was a new product.  According to him the waxy substance you can see in the pic acts as a lubricant and helps with the cutting.  So whats the word on these things? gimmick or not?

Reply:The guy didn't mention it.  I plan on trying it on some steel, aluminum and stainless tomorrow to see what its all about.
