I'm in need of a cooling unit for water cooled TIG.Machine is an old school Miller 330A/BP.Just missed out on a coolmate3 on CList , Not set on the new unit, but need to keep torch cool, I weld a lot of aluminum.BTW, I'm in MichiganSprocket
Reply:Not sure if this helps, but there is a fellow in Martin, Mi that sells used C-4's on Ebay. he puts them up for 300 bid or-350 buy it now.I had my finger poised when I fell on a 220 c-3.Mike Z
Reply:You can use water from a foset and drain it, if you can't find a cooler.  I like the Bernard cooler.  JohnSMAW,GMAW,FCAW,GTAW,SAW,PAC/PAW/OFCand Shielding Gases.  There all here. :
Reply:I missed the martin one by a keystroke 40 seconds before auction end, I was first bid at less than a minute.Guess I'll call him and see if any more...I was trying to buy a bernard from a former employer but that bridge got burned, guess I'll keep lookin... Saw a few on ebay, we'll see.Yeah the guy I got the welder from used it as constant loss, but I don't have enough drainage runoff nor do I want to run my water pump that much... I'm on a well!
Reply:I am by grand rapids and i have several coolers I have bernard 3500ss which I will sell for $350. They are pretty nice. I also have like new ones that are bernard/ itw. They are the same except made for miller and have there serial number on them. They are only 1 and 2 years old. I want $500 for each of them. But I have several of the $350 bernards. give me a shout. My name is paul  and my email is [email protected] Once you email me I will send you my number.sincerely, paul
Reply:In some cases, a vertical model will save you space - takes the place of the second cylinder on a portable cart. Here is one such unit.  http://www.flickr.com/photos/weldersales/2327155506/   weldersales
Reply:The martin, MI ebay listed another one, I just decided to eat the buy it now, just waiting... again, cashiers check or MO only, so gotta wait for snail mail.it's a coolmate4, kinda big unit. I'm thinking about leaving the cooler and gas tank stationary and sleeve the lines together with main input lead.not more than 12 feet in length. This will enable me to remove the bottle tray extension from my rig using less shop space and making the unit a li'l bit lighter to move around my small shop.Does anyone see any big issues with running long feed lines other than basic line pressure drop?
