Vantage 520sd output stops when welding on the back of my truck

I’ve got a 2016 vantage 520sd, used from United rentals with 4000 hours on it. Whenever I strike at arc on the back of the truck it is mounted to I get arc for about a second and then nothing. The lights on the machine blink and the read outs stop displaying numbers for a few seconds and then it returns to normal. Reply:I have no idea but hopefully someone can help.  Had a guy get mad because nobody answered his post but I don’t think these guys are getting paid to answer.  Hopefully it’s a loose connection.
Reply:does it weld ok if you are on the ground and away from the truck. If so, welding current is getting into the welder controls and causing problems. Lincoln will need to know this. then they might be able to point you to a damaged filter or shorted wire. Also where are the weld leads, laid out on the ground with no coils or coiled up on top of the welder. Magnetic fields cause by the coils can cause problems with some welders. even coils on the ground.
