I just love craigslist. I just picked up a Core Bore Concrete drill with 1", 1.5", 2", 2.5", 3", 3.5", 4", 5" bits, and a 12" extention. For a whooping $400. Best part is I got a $300 dollar core drilling job on saturday, which I was going to spend $150 to rent a core drill. So, its almost paid for on the 1st job. I will post so pictures from the job.Lincoln 300 Vantage 2008300 Commander 1999SA250 1999SA200 1968Miller Syncrowave 200XMT350MPA/S-52E/xr-15Xtreme 12vs Millermatic 251 w/30A Millermatic 251 Dialarc 250 Hypertherm 1250 GEKA & Bantom Ironwokers

Reply:Nice find. I never get that lucky. Does that have a vacuum base? Did you get the vac. with it also?
Reply:It has the vac base, but no vac. Everytime, I have ever used one of these, I never seem to be on a smooth flat surface. So the vac is pointless to me. I just put my size 12' work boots supporting a 210lb body on the stand and she didn't move at all. Took 2 mins to drill a 2" by 9" deep core. Not a bad.Lincoln 300 Vantage 2008300 Commander 1999SA250 1999SA200 1968Miller Syncrowave 200XMT350MPA/S-52E/xr-15Xtreme 12vs Millermatic 251 w/30A Millermatic 251 Dialarc 250 Hypertherm 1250 GEKA & Bantom Ironwokers
Reply:That's great if you can hold it down to use it. I'm just a scrawny guy but I've been working on getting a nice round pot belly for the last 37years. With any luck, 10 more years and I can hold down a core drill like that.!!!
Reply:Nice find. I do know I'm not gonna screw with you, not with those 12' work boots. |
