Looking a good Lincoln Mig Welder that will run off 110v and gas. Let me know what you have. Thanks!
Reply:there are very few options. Almost all of the current 120V welders are based on the WeldPAk Series transformer . With a few minor drive modifications. (Home depot has a light duty drive motor on the HD Series.)Most places are clearing these out because Lincoln has a new model coming out early 2008. Some places may already have the POWERMIG Series. Its a better but slightly more expensive welder. Look around for clearout sales on a WeldPak. In Canada Home Depot, House of Tools, KMS & Princess Auto all have the WP100 on for $399 (+Conversion Kit if you need Gas bottle)
Reply:Where are you?I have a SP135 Plus that I no longer need so it will be up for sale but local pick up only- No shipping.Greater Los Angeles AreaEd
Reply:I live in Wilson, NC.
Reply:try to find a 100HD. they only come with the flux-core option right now, but you can get a $120 kit that will give you the gas option. i have one and love it. it paid for itself on it's first run.as far as the new ones that are coming out. I saw one at lowes last night i think. if it was still a WeldPak, it at least had a new case. looked spiffy, but i didn't need it, nor could i afford it.Later,Andy
Reply:I'll also take a 220v welder.
