Reply:We had 2 of them changed over to single in 1981 for a hundred apiece. Lots of electricians say it cant be done but I know better. There is probably 300 worth of copper in there.

Reply:Thats an electric motor/generator, pure dc rotary welder. Those are hands down the smoothest stick welders you will ever run. Reply:I'm a 1950's welder, I used one of those in a truck shop in Cleveland '57-'58'.It was good but I can do most everything that one could now with a machine I can lift withone hand. Yes I can still do it.
