Been weird weather lately.Had a Honey DoShe and I liked the milk can, she bought it, I had to paint it.Got a start on a new cart for the LN25 & PlasmatronAt this point right now, ready for the axle.Tie downs will attach on the underside of the pan for each machine.  I generally use small ratchet straps to hold stuff on these carts.Should have the axle on this afternoon, supposed to rain all day tomorrow"Any day above ground is a good day"http://www.farmersamm.com/

Reply:Well, it are doneInstead of a blow by blow, I thought I'd just pass on some highlights for general info.Axle mounts, and frame gussets.  Nothing fancy, just some scrap 3/16 plate.  Note that the axle is just locked in place with a small weld.  No need to weld the entire circumference Plasma worked fine for the 12ga sheetmetalI used to make a lot of furniture, this is a furniture tip  If you're able to.......do a "reveal".....do it.  It's simply a step back from the edge of where you're attaching sheet goods to a frame.  It allows you to align everything easily, and it looks very neat without stressing over matching the edge of the frame exactly.After the bulk of the cart was done, it was time to put the stuff on it, and determine where I needed hangers, hooks, etc........"Any day above ground is a good day"http://www.farmersamm.com/
Reply:My Motorgard filter has always been attached directly to the back of the plasma, and I decided to move it to a more convenient place, and get it out of the way of my foot when I had to tip the cart to wheel it somewhereMade a sorta custom bent thingy to hold the filterFilter fits real nice in the forks, and a hose clamp is used to secure itWelded to the frameI need a narrow profile in order to wheel the thing down a narrow corridor.  So the cables etc, have to be stored inside the wheel stance.  For this reason the cables are stored on these hooks Attached Images"Any day above ground is a good day"http://www.farmersamm.com/
