55 ford truck seat mounts

Wanna fab up some seat mounts for my 55 truck.  I have 2 bucket seats that i wanna use.  A 2x4 is just the right height for the seat to be where i want it to be.  Here's some pics, What do you guys think i should use and what kind of pattern?  1 inch tubing?  angle iron?  here's some pics...
Reply:The last one I did was an air ride seat in a big truck. I used flat stock bent to shape.
