Reply:You have to love road cancer. I have had to repair several 5th wheel mounting rails because of the salt as well.
Reply:Im with Tozzi on that as well. I recently looked at a 80ton dump truck with the same problem. I told the guy the same thing. He recently got pinched for something tho, cough cough so I'm waiting to hear back from him when he, cough cough, gets back to work. I was never here. Reply:I will never touch that. To much liability. some times its better to find a truck blown up and swap your motor or a cab and chassis.everybody starts somewhere.

Reply:If you catch me when I'm short on cash but oddly high on life in a great mood i MIGHT weld a transverse crack and add a liner. But a longitudinal crack is re-rail city. wouldn't touch it with a pole 10 states long.Vantage 500's LN-25's, VI-400's, cobramatics, Miller migs, synch 350 LX, Powcon inverters, XMT's, 250 Ton Acurrpress 12' brake, 1/4" 10' Atlantic shear,Koikie plasma table W/ esab plasmas. marvel & hyd-mech saws, pirrana & metal muncher punches.
