Did you ever have a job come in and they tell you no rush. So you put in the back and think you will get to it a few days. Well I got this small job a few "months" ago from a customer ( I have done a few jobs for him in the past ) that restores Simplicity snow blowers, mowers, tractors, etc. It was a garden tractor trailer that he found somewhere that had been setting on the tailgate and full of water so you know there is a lot of rust. Friday I get a call from him asking if I have gotten to it yet. So what do you say Ahh sorry, I haven't got to it yet been real busy ( I totally forgot about it ) Anyway I had some time today and did the repair. Rust had rotted out the top of the tailgate and I cut it out with the Harbortherm plasma cutter Bent up a new top piece and mig welded it in. Here are some pictures. Will look good after sand blasting and painting.
